How to Use the Icom RS-BA1 Software with Your Transceiver

The Icom RS-BA1 software is a remote control program that allows you to operate your Icom transceiver from a PC over an IP network. You can control most functions and modes of your transceiver, including interference rejection functions and IF filter settings, using the CI-V commands. How to Set Up the RS-BA1 Software

Before you start using the RS-BA1 software, you need to set up some settings on your PC and your transceiver. Here are the steps:

Connect your transceiver to your PC with an Ethernet cable or a USB cable. If you use an Ethernet cable, you need to set up the network settings on your transceiver according to the instruction manual. If you use a USB cable, you need to install the USB driver on your PC according to the instruction manual.

Run the RS-BA1 software on your PC and enter your serial number when prompted.

You can switch between different operating modes by clicking on the mode buttons on the main panel of the RS-BA1 software.

You can adjust the RF power, CW pitch, RF gain, SQL and AF level by dragging the sliders or clicking on the arrows on the main panel of the RS-BA1 software.
